That’s a recent change Darren made.
I’m happy with the battery powered only version…it lasts like 200 hours or some such.

To me, it's a really smart option. Hat's off to Darren for giving three powered options.

It is, but I’m dead set on fewer cables and power cords. Hence my Bose S1 with battery power and all my wireless stuff, mics and guitars…and the RedEye Twin!
With rechargeable batteries it’s become affordable and do-able.
