As for the use of Torquoise, check out a Guild DV72.

John,
I said it before, in terms of cool this guitar is the capo di tutti capi.

Here are front and back headstock of my new SJ. The Olson logo is a great design, so simple and clear.

I also really love Joel Stehr's leaves, but currently can't post the picture, maybe Hen can help and also add a Hula headstock

I don't have pictures to post, but I'm a fan of the SCGC logo and, even more simply, of Leo Posch's blank headstock with a wildflower stamp on the back.

Here's a link to some Dream Guitars pictures of a black Posch headstock:

Those are just regular slot head tuners. Banjo tuners are quite a bit different and banjo tuners all turn in the same direction, so the bass side of the headstock turns in "reverse" of what you would normally do, while the treble side turns "normal". I love the headstock overlay on that guitar... very nice color and grain.

Per usual, I love the Kim Walker headstock. It looks a lot like an LC (century of progress) model. Some people hate MOTS (mother of toilet seat) but I like it when it's done right. Too bad most of the MOTS trees have been harvested and it's getting so scarce.
