Need Help Identifying Guitar

Hello,

I need help identifying a guitar that has been in my family for a while. My mother received it from her father before he past away when she was teen. She doesn't know where he got it from, and there is no markings on it that tells us what brand it is. I don't know much about guitars myself, but I'd like to learn more about it's history if anyone has any insight.

Have you looked inside with a flashlight to see if anything is stamped up near the neck block? Also a photo showing the full headstock might help. It does look there is something printed on the truss rod cover.
