For Sale: SOLD! 2019 Gibson J-45 Standard w/OHSC

If you are looking for a great specimen of Gibson’s iconic “Workhorse” you found it here. This is indeed a “good” one. I bought this guitar new from Chicago Music Exchange less than two months ago. But since then I fell hard for a boutique dread (a Collings, see sig) so I reluctantly have to let this beauty go to raise cash for that purchase. The guitar recently had a pro setup so it has buttery playability and more than $150 in upgrades, including bone nut and saddle, bone bridge pins with faux tortoise inlays and a custom truss rod cover. All of the originals are in the case if you want to switch back.

She’s in excellent condition. Only issue I can find is that the serial number imprint on the back of the headstock is incomplete. But the serial number on the label is fine, so Gibson says it’s not an issue. (See picture #8).

Thanks, Larry! Made the “mistake” of playing my first Collings a few weeks ago when I took the J-45 in for the setup. Blew my mind. Knew I could never afford a new one...but then CME gave me a great price on the 2017 model in my sig. Arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. Bad news is I gotta sell two of my three other guitars to cover the cost. The Taylor 717e GP is already sold. Now it’s the J-45’s turn...

I can make out enough of the serial number to see that it matches the label.

Should not concern any potential purchaser.
