Default NGD - Fender Vintera Road Worn Blonde

Arrived today from the fedex, ordered directly from fender because nobody else had stock yet. I had been eying the vintera series, both Tele & Strats, and when I saw they were releasing a road worn version I had to jump at it. The wear is light, but I was more into the feel and the nitro finish. It is nice not having to worry about the first ding, but I truly don’t baby electric guitars like I do acoustics. Fit and finish is perfect, no complaints. Tone is killer. Running through a Fender GTX100. I haven’t really explored the amp yet but found some great tones in 2 minutes and was able to practice long after the kids were in bed with headphones. Country guitar here I come. -Jacob

Looks great. Not too "road worn".

Congrats! Had a Roadworn tele before they were Vintera. Best tele I’ve ever owned or played by a lot. Had it about a year, which is the longest I’ve ever kept a tele - I love em but turns out when I have a strat around I never play them and I always have a strat around. Best feeling neck ever. I think the new Vintera version is basically the same. Enjoy it!!!

A true Classic! Nice one... even the moderate relicing looks good...

Enjoy that beauty!

This one really needs a '59 Bassman/'65 Super RI to come into its own - nothing like feeling those tubes responding to every variation in picking/touch, and tweaking the dials until you find your signature tone(s) is half the fun (and all the charm) of an old-school tube combo...

Use it well, often, and LOUD...

Yeah, I will certainly add a Tube Amp down the line. I got the GTX100 to practice at home (with headphones mostly, small kids....) and have the ability to play along to tracks easily and send it to the computer easily. The Mustangs are fantasticly versatile for home use, I would highly recommend them. It is also a great platform to see what types of pedals and effects you like because you can add them and take them away from any sound. It's all pretty cool.

Love this guitar so far. I had a strat years ago, and it never really felt right for me. This does in spades.

I was going to add...

I'd LOVE to have some quality time with that guitar and my Deluxe Reverb!!! There's just something about a Tele through a Fender tube amp that is, for me, the quintessential Fender Tone...

I am sure it is a great guitar. But with all those dings, I would definitely send it back.

One of the nicest, NOT over the top relicing jobs I've ever seen.
Nice!
