Default The re-homed and very much loved 000-15M

This particular guitar has a sweet story behind it…

I was in a local shop and fell in love with this 000-15M. It is just a wonderful example of this build, but on that day when I played it, I did not bring it home. Something else caught my attention, and I walked out of the shop leaving this one on the wall.

Shortly after, a dear friend of mine (also an AGFer) mentioned that she had a hankering for a 000-15M and I told her about the one I had played a few days earlier. So, we made plans to meet at the shop, so she could give it a spin. And, within a few short minutes, she brought it home.

Fast forward, and as my friend has made the decision to slim down a truly outstanding guitar collection, she asked if I might be interested in the 000. Without much, if any hesitation, I said “yes” and so we met up yesterday; we sat outside, enjoyed a lovely lunch, watching dogs walk by, and listening to some live music in the background at the farmers market.

Sometimes guitars just come with a story…this is one of those times. And, a story I will always fondly remember.

There is something special about the way a 000-15M comes to life when you capo down a few frets. Enjoy that one, it was obviously meant for you.

Congrats Kh!

I've always had a soft spot for the all hog Martins. Its another mystery in the saga of guitars that I don't own but should.

Always enjoy stories like that and all us guitar nuts join in with you Kh. The 000-15M is a great guitar. Btw, what kind of pick guard is that? Looks a little different, maybe because of the lighting in the image. Anyway, congrats man on hooking up with an old friend.
