A first for me, there is no adjustable neck rod, only 2, 1/8" x 3/8" tightly fit carbon fibre rods. A controversial idea to be sure, but it makes sense to me, but I shall see. lol.
The binding is torrefied flamed maple, and a torrefied flamed/birdseye maple neck. Walnut burl ph veneer. Ebony bridge and fb.
The AAA+ sitka top is bound with rope purfling.
I try to keep my builds on the simpler side. As much as I am in awe of the complex, very detailed guitars posted by others, I can't compete with them. We all have our limitations. LOL.
The combination X brace /lattice brace, large, deep body gives her a BIG sound, responding best to a pick or fingernails.
It is a lefty for me, and a lifetime guitar.
as before , I invite everyone to visit my website http://rgpguitars.ca
Really impressive build. I, too, am a lover of cocobolo. Nice work!

Absolutely beautiful, superb work.
Thanks Bruce. Imagine being a lefty walking into a high end guitar shop. One of the reasons I started making my own. Lol

Default Neck

What kind of adjustable neck system are you using? The picture didn’t show much detail.
Thanks

Nothing special. A connector bolt through the neck block to a brass threaded insert, and an Allen head bolt through the neck block to a tee nut or brass threaded insert to adjust the action . A partially raised fb extension. A transverse 1/2 dowel at the top of the mortise as a pivot . Only seconds to adjust the action.

Default Adjustable neck

Do you notice a difference between this and a conventional bolt on neck that has so much more contact with the body? I have a guitar with a raised neck and it adds more vibration in the upper top at the small expense of the finger board up at the last frets don’t give those notes as much umph- for lack of a better word.

Not that I have noticed, although my playing skills don't get me up that far too often, sad to say. Lol.

Thanks Dave. You know I couldn't have made it if not for everything I learned from you all those many, MANY years ago. A friend and mentor.
