I used paua generically for shell, I meant abalone. Yes we will look at and consider colors for the leaves and the rest of the inlays and have thought about using some fall colors. I wanted to use shell instead of wood for the inlays, just my personal preference.

How bout a combination...wood leaves with abalone veins (if that is humanly possible...and if it is Larry is the one to do it)...

Would look pretty sweet at least in my head

Did this guitar ever get finished? I'd love to see how it turned out.

Default Omega guitar inventory?

Recently thought of Kevin and was wondering if there was ever a list of the instruments he made. I once had the chance to take one of his mentored guitar build sessions but couldnt free up the time and now regret not making the time. I have always dreamed of owning one of his creations, especially with the mother of pearl inlays. Dearly missed.

What a very moving story! And what a beautiful guitar came out of it.
Life is but a vapor, indeed.
I hope someone is playing the heck out of this thing
