Default Martin 00-28G 1951 Nylon String

Martin 00-28G guitar, 1951. This is one of the Martin " classical " "G" models with the 14 fret body and the 12 fret neck. Dovetail neck joint. Brazilian rosewood body, spruce top, and ebony fretboard and bridge. Good structural and cosmetic condition. The worst ding is where it appears a player repeatedly dug a fingernail into the top immeditely next to the treble end of the bridge or a splinter has come off somehow. Scale = about 25 1/2". Nut width = about 2". String 1 - string 6 at the bridge = about 2 1/4". Neck is straight with very little relief. NOTE: The bridge is lifting across the back: I can slip my .004" palette knife into the gap. The tuners are not original but they are decent quality. There are little dings, signs of age, and playwear all over the guitar, including a small (3/4") depression in the plastic binding edge (treble side, back edge, lower bout). Finish appears to be all original and has darkened with age. Has a later-year generic case not fitted to the guitar. $3,950 including shipping to destination in USA states. No international shipping.
