Question Does anyone know anything about my Takamine TW-2

Hi, I've have this Takamine&Co. acoustic guitar sitting around for a while, I don't know much about guitars but I've recently decided I'd like to know more about this specific one, it doesn't come up in any searches and caused confusion in yahoo answers.
I got it free second hand so I don't even know how old it is or where it was originally bought.
If anyone can tell me anything about it that'd be great, I'm also wondering what it may be worth if it is worth anything.

Thanks in advance

I've uploaded the pictures to PhotoBucket, here's the link

Very unusual.
Label printed in Spanish?
No drawing of a mountain (Mt Takamine in Japan) that they often use.
Script on headstock also unlike any other Takamine - very similar to the 'law suit' era Takamine headstocks that clearly resembled Martin script but not the same.
Sorry I can't help on this one.

p.s. Welcome to the forum, where do you live?

Could just be a strange model they made and only marketed in a Spanish speaking country that found it's way here?
Takamine made guitars for the 'Wayne' company here in Australia before exporting world wide under their own name. I know because I have one.

I'm in Eden, far South coast of NSW.

Interesting, it might be something like that, considering the logo says 'and co'

Cool

Hi, another Aussie here . It looks almost identical to a Tak my friend of many years back had when we lived in a group house in the early-mid 1980s.

Obviously a straight take on a Martin dread & most likely laminated (to be honest didn't know or care about solid vs. laminated back then) but I always thought it sounded a bit better than my Suzuki knockoff of a Gibson J-200 which I think still sounds OK.

Spent many beer infused nights jamming away with those 2 guitars, we both upgraded the tuners to sealed Schallers which seemed the duck's guts at the time, good memories.
