Well that 8' niche in the wall could easily have been a bar area, like at our previous house. But I had to get the guitars out of the unfinished room in the basement because that's where the furnace is. It was obviously a challenge trying to keep 25 guitars humidified in a furnace room, even in their cases with a lot of Damp-its. But I did turn that back room into a man-cave where all the cases, amps, stereo w/ turntable, 2,000 LPs, 1,000 or so CDs and other storage. I can record in there if I turn of the furnace temporarily.

I'll find some pics of the man cave and post them next.

With all the wood on the walls it kind of looks like a guitar sauna.

But that would be way to dry.

That's your guitar room? I thought you took a photo of it in the guitar shop lol
Me too! Then I looked at the list of guitars in the signature line....

Sitting in this guitar room looks like it is like visiting a nice guitar shop. Wow.

Cool photos too. Taken using a LensBaby, or were the cool effects done in Photoshop? If the latter, how?

Wow... great closet ideas. Congrats on the guitar, they're great guitars. I've had a non-shaded top D18GE for about 10yrs (I'm envious of the sunburst -- something about those shaded top Martins that really stands out). The finish is worn off on mine where my thumb hangs over the top of the neck in the open position, and the frets show some wear. Other than that, its not showing near the wear as I'd expect for as much as I've played it. Gets louder with more play with that Adirondack top.

Congrats macfawlty. I don't know if I'm more impressed with that amazing D-18GE or the guitar room!!! Great pics.

How can you afford all these nice guitars! I'm jealous, in a Christian sort of way! I'm also a carpenter, and can spot a nice job when I see one.

Wow, what an awesomely attractive little guitar room (to say nothing of that D-18GE!). Going to show this to my wife. This might be the coolest thing I see on the internet all week.

Thanks for sharing.
