Thank you, Tricia and Kramster! I haven't tried cf nylons yet but truly am interested to see if they have as much resonance and dynamic range as these lightly built solid wood tops.
EvanB, I took your advice and consulted a well respected luthier. Since the guitar is set up with not much play left for truss rod and unusually high action in the middle, he suggested lowering the saddle as much as possible and counter the thus-induced buzz with truss rod loosening. In other words, the whole neck is kinda rotating clock-wise. I am going to sleep on this for a while until string change. Anywhooo, EvanB, I always appreciate your wisdom and friendly heart!! Thanks!
