Dion 2019 Model No.04
Here’s an incredibly responsive, voluminous, and sweet sounding instrument that I built for the 2019 Edition of the Vancouver International Guitar Festival. It’s now available through Guitar Gallery Nashville. https://www.guitargal.com/products/d...d91ab252&_ss=r $7800 usd Master grade Italian Spruce soundboard Indian Rosewood back and sides Honduran Mahogany neck Ebano, fingerboard, Head veneer, bridge and binding This guitar features a very cool inlaid nut, a shop made carbon fibre u-rod neck reinforcement, a stainless steel dbl action trussrod made by Marc Blanchard, structured sides and a hollow core back. I know that’s a lot to chew on, so check out my website for more details on those features, or send me a message. The body is finished in very thinly applied , full gloss, u.v polyester. The neck and fingerboard are finished with a satin and very fast feeling ecopoxy , my new standard. 1.75” nut 2.25” spread at saddle 25.4” scale 14 fret body join Evo gold frets Cow bone nut and saddle Comes in a jet black visesnut case. If you haven’t heard of visesnut cases check them out. Italian spruce Here’s that inlaid nut The satin ecopoxy finish on the neck Rosewood Honduran neck Another shot of the front, all the black parts are Ebano, an ebony substitute that I prefer for its sustainability. For the bridge I like that it’s lighter weight and contributes to the quick response of my guitars Ebano head veneer with maple purfling lines Rear veneer, cut from the same board as the neck and matched for grain orientation. .5mm black veneer underneath Full sun shot of the back Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. Dion 2019 Model No.04
It’s arrived safe and sound in Nashville. If you’re in the area stop by and play this guitar, really a fantastic sounding instrument. If you’re not in the area check out the audio and videos on the Guitar Gallery Website. The audio files are higher quality and a more accurate representation of the sound. Make sure you play them through good speakers or headphone to get the real deal.
