Fret Central has a Huss & Dalton 00-SP in stock, so I played last weekend. It has their standard 1 3/4" nut. I didn't have any trouble with it, and it plays easy like other Huss & Daltons I have played, including my own. So I would say there are more factors to ease of play than just nut width. String spacing on the saddle seems to be the same on the 00 series , and that is plenty wide enough as the OP has already spec'ed. The shape of the neck, I would think likewise helps playability, and the Huss & Dalton seems just right.

If I were looking at a Huss & Dalton that had the standard 1 3/4" nut, I doubt that I would pass it up if I didn't already have mine. The OP's price is certainly a good one too, much less than the cost of a new instrument.

I own a Huss and Dalton 00-SP Custom (sunburst with bubinga back and sides) and it's an absolutely marvelous guitar. I suspect the one in this thread is likely equally special. Can't believe it hasn't sold yet, especially at this more than fair price.

I am new to H&D and cannot be happier. My T-00 14 is amazing in every way! Playability, comfort, Tone, build quality and finish are spectacular! H&D’a are truly amongst the best of the best. If I had the $$ this would be mine.

Someone is going to get a great guitar. BTW....The price is more than fair too.
