Default Shi Beg Shi Mor on Kevin Ryan Nightingale

Hey all,

Just posting here for the first time, though somehow I've been a member since 2008. At any rate, I was among those in Nashville affected by the 2010 Soundcheck floods, and a gorgeous Kevin Ryan Mission Grand Concert that had finally reached it's peak after 10 years was one such causality...

But some good things came out of the loss and nearly six years later the Nightingale which replaced that Mission Grand Concert is a thing of beauty....

Here's me playing Shi Beg Shi Mor on it:

Such a smooth, light touch! Very much enjoyed...you might want to think about posting more than twice every eight years, though! (I know, big talk, from someone who has never posted even a sound file, right?!)

A lovely rendition on a beautiful guitar.

Mr. Ryan's shop is about 4 miles from my home. I've briefly gotten to watch part of the creation of a Nightingale. Mr. Ryan is doing interesting things.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. Yeah, I just started coming here again more recently and am glad to be back! I'm sure I'll be posting more and taking part in some more discussions over here these days. And yes, Kevin's a great guy....who builds (truly) remarkable guitars
