Goodall maple and bearclaw spruce, 2006, 12 string
Lovely guitar. Highly figured bear claw Sitka top, curly maple back and sides. Koa binding, ebony board and head plate, abalone fret markers. I keep taking her off the market promising myself I'll play it more but I'm getting arthritic. I can handle a 6 but a 12 is too much. Not Taylor-jangly just an angelic sound; the overtones are amazing and mesmerizing.
A beautiful looking and sounding guitar. She's in excellent shape, I can't find a mark on her. $5,000 plus shipping. Details and pics at https://reverb.com/item/34999823-goo...bearclaw-sitka Last edited by pbowes; 01-09-2022 at 11:16 AM. |

A rare one right there... James doesn't make all that many 12 strings. That one looks a beauty; I can only guess how it sounds!
Although I've played over a hundred of James Goodall's guitars, I've only played a couple of his 12 strings, and they are very special instruments... Best of luck with your sale!

Thanks. It's the only Goodall 12 I've played and is remarkable.
