A new Tab - "Java" - as played by Al Hirt

For fingerstyle / fingerpicking guitarists - a new tune has just been posted in tab format (with music notation) in TablEdit (.tef file) for free download over at my tab website. It is "Java" by Allen Toussaint as played by Al Hirt (see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqwIpH6phJs) and used for many years as the theme music for the TV show "Vision On". I remember Al Hirt's Java as an a.m. radio song in L.A. in 1963 or so. Would not have associated it with guitar.

I didn't recognize the title of this song, but once I listened, I realized I had heard it hundreds of time growing up with a father who was a huge Al Hirt fan.

I never bought any Al Hirt records because when I would leave the house every day, my mother would say, "Be careful! Don't get hirt!"
