I managed to get a haircut right before the salons were shut down here in Minnesota.

My hair's doing ok, but my eyebrows are seriously out of control.

I cut my own hair with clippers, so no. Been doing it for going on 20 years now, so am pretty good at it.

Come over and bring me a favorite pick and I'll cut yours too!

My wife has cut my hair...I would let it grow again but there isn't much left anyway. My worry is the nail salon!!! My finger style nails are almost gone!!! If and when they open I will gown up with all of my PPE and get the liquid gel nails that work so well on my steel string acoustic.

My wife cut mine, did a great job! We had fun, I cut hers after that.

I've been using a "Flowbe" since 1989, so the lock down didn't affect that part of my life at all. Too bad my wife can't say the same.

No. And I was overdo for a trim before lockdown. I’m leaving it to grow, though. Where I currently am stuck, most residents don’t believe in the virus. So I don’t leave my house or yard unless I gotta.

I have straight and well behaved hair that should be the easiest in the world to cut. But whenever I came home from haircut places, my wife would always complain about what a bad job they had done. So we got a Wahl clipper kit many years ago and she cuts it about every 4-6 weeks. Four weeks if I have a choice and can pin her down. I use the same kit with a shorter guide to trim my beard. As for nails, I go natural and do my own filing and maintenance.

She went to her newly re-opened salon a couple of days ago for a cut herself. I'm not nearly brave enough (or skilled enough) to tackle trimming a woman's hair, even in an emergency. THAT would be desperate times.....

Nope. It's longer than it's been since 1972 when I joined the Air Force. Somehow the wife is alright with it.

At 62, I still have 90% of my hair and very little is gray.
I tend to grow it out a lot but yeah, I am in need of a trim.
Decided to grow a goatee, my first.
Girlfriend hates it.
And it is mostly white.
Suppose it will go when I can finally get a haircut.

Yeah, I'm thinking of canceling my appointment this week and letting it grow. Back in the 90s my hair was thick, dark and hung down to my waist. Now it's not nearly as thick, cropped and almost entirely silver/grey. If I do decide to grow it then I might also have to re-run my lockdown beard experiment and go for a full Gandalf.

My hair grows like a weed and I have not been able to get it cut for close to 8 weeks now. And understand, at 66 I am thrilled it is up there and I will never complain about that, but as some folks hair simply grows longer, mine kinda just grows out in all directions, thick and coarse like shredded wheat with no kink but some gentle natural wave. I remember in college back in the early 70's I wanted so badly to have hair like Sweet Baby James Taylor, but the longer I let it continue to grow, the more I looked like some giant Q-Tip chia afro tumbleweed kind of thing that was just really goofy looking.

I'm getting closer to that now. Oh Lordy.

I am approaching a greying "John Denver" look from his Rocky Mountain High days. Another week or so and I will be there unless my wife does a Delilah job on me in the middle of the night. She has threatened.

If I could sing and play guitar I would consider forming a tribute act.

No haircut here... sheltering at home since March 5th. We ordered a set of clippers for my son's hair, and I may give in soon, since it's going to be 107 degrees by mid-week.

I was due for a cut on the very day that "stay at home" orders came down here in south Texas, and my hair was longer than usual then. So yeah, my freak flag (threadbare as it is) is flying a tad longer than it has in several years. In an earlier thread on this topic, I used the phrase "going full Ben Franklin"...because, hey, long on sides and back but not that much on top in front any more.

Sucked it up this morning and called for an appointment to have it weed-whacked. It comes off June 2.
