For Sale: Box of Vintage Reel-to-Reel Guitarist Recordings

Hi folks,

Offered for you consideration is a box of vintage reel-to-reel tape recordings from a professional music and music store owner/guitar teacher. He passed away years ago and I acquired these at the music store estate sale (bet it's been 10 years now). Don't have reel-to-reel player to listen, but he had written detailed descriptions of tape contents on back of tape box, to include song titles, dates, and even specific guitars and amps that were used on some of the recordings. He was also a steel guitar player and I saw some notations about steel guitars.

The dates written on the back of tape boxes include go back to 1966 one box only) with most of the others appearing to be mid-80's. Please view and zoom pics for details written on boxes. For example, one of the song entries on the 1966 box also notes "Used Pedal Gibson & Danelectro G Speaker Amp". Another note on this same box noted "Used Gibson pedal guitar , w/ drum of Kay Rhythm selector - w/small Gibson Falcon amp plugged into recording console". He also noted his fellow musicians in some cases.

There are also some plastic take-up reels and a few misc. tapes (with or without boxes) with unknown content.
