Photo Hosting Sites

AGF owner JR Baker convinced me to get a 1&1 IONOS site for photos and to post answers to questions from AGF folks back in 2003 and have used it ever since. I built a website there. It's something like $7 per month for unlimited storage and access.

Just posted this with no account. What do you mean, whitelist? It’s dead simple to post to Imgur.

No, never have. See my video linked above, you can see the experience I get. Never had any issues posting to Imgur. Wonder if it’s particular to the ad blocker I use given what you’re seeing.

I’m happy to pay for a Smugmug account, which I use for other purposes than posting here. For stuff I take with a camera, it’s easy to open and grab a link.

For the times when I want to post an iPhone image, I just fire up the iOS AGF app and load directly from my photos on iCloud.

I just tried Imgur the way you describe in your video (I don't have ad blocker on this new machine yet) and so ya I saw some adds on the the Imgur home page (not sure what the issue is about that ? but anyway ) clicked "New Post"

Then I just dropped the image in the "Drop Image" box and it immediately uploaded (did not see either window robj144 posted about)
But I think I found a quicker way to get it to AGF then what you describe in your video
I just put my cursor in top right of the photo it says Copy and has the 3 dots ... cursor on that, click "Get share links" click "BBCode Copy" and done.
Go to AGF reply box and paste link directly (no need to go to AGF "Insert Image" )

and I will do a quick screen recording it above is not clear

Yep, that’s quicker. I was trying to educate about URLs which likely isn’t terribly useful in this context.
