I envy those who get a jolt of energy, awareness or inspiration from coffee. I love coffee. I've been a devotee since my youth in the USN. But it has no real effect on me. I can drink a pot of coffee and go straight to bed and sleep soundly.

I hear this. If I drink enough coffee i will feels a bit jittery, mostly just stomach problems.

My one cup in the morning feels good, tastes good (double espresso with a little Oatly) and is so ingrained in my morning routine I don’t feel right without it. But I am not sure that I feel more awake or alert with it. If I skip it, I feel the same as if I drink it.

If I have two, I feel a little off, not buzzy but something.

I don’t feel withdrawal when I skip it for a few days either, like my wife does.

Truly, where one would notice results with me would be from a lack of coffee, but it's hard to hide that many bodies.

I feel a jolt of energy and inspiration only for a couple of weeks. Then I get exhausted and have to stop drinking coffee for several days.
