It was a strange game to say the least. Only 3 passes and not even 20 total passing yards. Allen was definitely more fun to watch because he was taking risks and trying to make things happen. Mac Jones sticks to what’s working, and minimize risk taking. It’s almost as if he’s obsessed with making zero mistakes. But I’ll take the win. Now they have a much needed bye week coming up, and then to face the Colts.

That wasn't Mac's call at all. Bill's mentality was not pass and risk anything if they had the lead. It worked.

Yup. But the Patriots game plan never wavered. If it was third and six in an obvious passing play they are still pounding the ball. That's not on Mac that is on some kind of game plan. It worked. But just barely.

It was a weird plan because they were ahead by less than a touchdown for pretty much the whole game. But like you said, it worked.

Bill likes his defense in these situations. He counts on them and they come through mostly. But it's a gutsy game plan with a slim margin. They went for it.

Could we be seeing a Brady/Belichick Bowl in the making? Brought to you by the Better Business Bureau.

Very possible even if suspicious. [emoji23] But there’s so many good teams this season, it’s hard to make that call yet. As we all know, the real football season starts in January, and Brady is a master of that.

Belichick had a great game plan... no one saw it coming. 3 pass attempts is unimaginable but it worked.

Pats first overall in the conference. Only the top spot in each conference gets a bye.

Oh they changed that too? Wow now first week bye is even a bigger deal!
