Hi Glenn. That was an excellent take on the tune, I always enjoy your musical postings! This one brought back fond memories of playing it with my band around Christmas time (three part harmony, two guitars, violin and cello).

Makes me weep a little every time. I don’t think there is a sadder Christmas song in existence! But it’s like Louisiana hot sauce. You know it’s going to burn but you just can’t stay away from it.
Thank you for reposting this beautiful gem, Glenn.
Merry Christmas my friend.

Thanks so much, Frank!

And thank you for your kind comments! I'm sorry this song is so hard on you!

Enjoy the season with your lovely wife and grand kids, Frank! And I'm so glad you're getting your house put back together after all that scary flooding!

Be well Frank!

Thank you Rick!

I'm so glad you thought this came out well. Thanks for watching and for taking time to comment!

I use 3 Canon video cameras and I record the audio to Cubase Pro. I use a couple of Warm Audio WA-84 small diaphragm mics for stereo guitar recording and a Warm Audio WA-47 large diaphragm tube condenser mic for voice. I have a separate studio that I can record in, so that helps a great deal. I have a green screen behind me when I video record so that I can impose other video or photos behind me in post production work with video editing using Adobe Premier .

I hope you are doing well and that you and your family will have a good Christmas. Take care, Rick.
