Nicely done - all around. It's a matter of taste but I liked your voice in that register. My wife keeps after me to learn some new songs. I think I'll take a stab at this one and steal your ideas too.

Nice job. I think the vocal works, and the impression that you may be pressing up near your range's upper limits adds to the impact.

You comments are appreciated! Just listened again to myself. I believe the single mic used, was a bit far way .. I could have been a bit stronger on vocals. By perhaps better mic placement. |

Jake very nice job I really liked it.
My only suggestion (Playing producer ) would be to raise the mic somewhere between 4 to 8 inches higher which should balance out the level of the vocal to be closer to the level of the guitar and put it in the same plane front to back . opps >>>> that was supposed to read right now it sounds behind the guitar .

On a side note, I am digging the Apogee MiC. It certainly is making for easier recordings. I have it plugged into my iPad Mini and use free Garage Band App. |

I'm sitting here gassing for a J-45, decided I'm fine with what I have, then I heard this. That was fantastic.

Good job.
One of my most favorite Stone's songs and one of the first I ever played as I began to learn guitar. Interestingly, the song was written by Graham Parsons who had worked with a variety of artists including the Byrds, Poco, Bonnie and Delany, Emmylou Harris, Eagles and was in the "Flying Burrito Brothers" band. He died from an alcohol and morphine overdose at the age of 26.
