I ordered the same saddle from Taylor that the guitar comes with.

The straightedge is hitting the bridge in just about the perfect spot. Swapping your saddle for one that isn't grooved may be the only thing you need to do.

I hope so

My nut is very low as well though. The high E has a microscopic amount of clearance and the low E has about a .015". It's not buzzing though.

Taylor’s website has full specs for string heights. You can use this info to check string height at the nut. This way you can confirm if the nut needs replacement.

I measured and it's lower than Taylors specs, but it's not buzzing.
