"Ellipse" (original instrumental composition)
Might as well begin my posting on the forum with a bang... (why not?)
 So, this is a little instrumental I wrote in 2017 that I call "Ellipse". Not only is it written in an ABA pattern (which I thought could justify the title somewhat) but there's quite a bit of looping picking patterns in the midsection of it - I thought that the title would represent the latter as justification a little better, but they both work I suppose. I like it, and I do think the title fits the music nicely!
Ellipse is one of my favorite words, actually.

Really enjoyed that!! Some segments very "Richie Havens-esque"! (right down to the Guild acoustic!) Really nice rhythm and groove going on there!

Hey, AJ. Very nicely done. Some crazy picking in there, and a great piece for listening as well.
You should post your stuff in the SoundHole as well; been a while since you visited. Not that it’s changed a bunch. But it is a bunch of guitar players.
