Default TC Helicon Play Acoustic now with presets and delays!!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-3q0GXIc4Y

People have been dreaming of the day, sending requests (and complaints) - and TC just announced that the latest Play Acoustic update will allow you to save different guitar settings per preset... and they now have delay/echo for the guitar as well. Those are the two features I have really been wanting, can't wait to run the update and check it all out!

Glad they finally got those features added. Those were two of the draw backs that pushed me to the VL3. Always good to know that a company is working to provide support for their products.

Good to know they can continue to upgrade their products with software updates. The DSP hardware must be the same. Any idea if they have made changes to the GXT?

So far in all the announcements that I've read from NAMM they've not indicated anything about the GXT. From the video announcement they indicated that the release of Voice Support 2 was needed before the update for Play Acoustic could be release. They didn't mention anything about the Play Electric either. So maybe, hopefully there are other updates coming down the path.

Sorry but they will not update the GXT.
It's a discontinued product.

Bummer. But thanks for the info. Maybe it's time to upgrade?

That's good news. Not sure how often I'll use it, but I appreciate the flexibility.
