Hold off on the saws.
I agree. when I have one of these, I like to remove the entire fingerboard, rather than cutting it. I drill the dovetail joint several times with a long 1/16" bit. Once it is apart, I true up the surfaces and use thick shims to tighten the joint.

Most epoxies will soften at around 200 degrees.

I'm not sure if it would work in this case, but one of the folks over at the OFC recently found a way to remove necks glued with epoxy that didn't involve steam.

You separate the fretboard extension in the usual way, then fill a ziplock bag with boiling water and lay it across the area of the body where the neck is joined. (See pic below)

The bag is left in place for 5 minutes, then emptied and refilled with boiling water. After the second bag he was able to start wiggling the neck and after the third, the neck popped free.

Definitely not gonna do the saw and/or bolt.
Ill find someone who is willing and experienced with this type of task, and if the cost would make sense ill move forward. Otherwise it would be my "chords in first position/slide up neck" guitar

Its a beautiful little jewel.

As far as Retrofret, just want to make clear that they worked on several of my guitars, did a wonderful job and are super nice and helpful! I like them a lot.
Its just that in this case they were reluctant, which is fair enough.

Spoke to Evan today and he referred me as he is not doing Neck sets anymore.. Ill update for whoever is interested.

I really like that water bag idea - sort of a conformal heating blanket.

What is the "OFC"? I'd like to send them my Yamaha FG335 for a neck reset.

Ovation Fan Club. (See: http://ovationfanclub.com/)

Not too sure you'll have much luck over there with the work on your Yamaha, but they are a bunch of nice people.
