I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who messaged me and questioned my sanity during my moments of weakness regarding selIing my Banjo Killer. I let the desire for something new almost take away an AMAZING guitar from me! Since I put the listing up I put D’addario Nickel Bronze mediums on it and it’s turned this beast into an EVERYTHING killer. I’ve come to the realization that it and my D41 are two different tools that can do many different things and they’re BOTH valuable tools to have in my Guitarsenal! Thanks again!

I didn’t receive any go for it comments as far as selling it. Got several “your crazy if you do” comments and messages though! There were a couple of posts that made me realize how much I really loved the guitar!

I have D'Addario NB mediums on my H & D TD M. It really likes them. That said, I haven't found any strings yet that sound bad on that guitar, including Monels, Elixirs, Martin SP, D'Addario PB, and more. It just doesn't care what strings it has on it.

I want to try them in place of phosphour bronze on my BK, but will wait until I put something different on the H & D before I try it. I like the difference between them too much right now.

I almost did! GAS is an evil thing and can quickly get us In trouble! I know without a shadow of a doubt that I would’ve been posting in the “one that got away” thread if I’d let it go! I’m glad all of you talked me off the ledge!

I will in a few days. There may be a way I can still work it out and get it! If I post a NGD in the next week, everyone will know! If my wife threatens me with my life for wanting another guitar, I’ll tell you then. The mystery is what makes life so much fun!

Now after hearing some sound samples and seeing the specs and pics, I’m down to one guitar and if my fiddle sells, there’ll be a 2019 Bourgeois dread to go along with my two!
