Smile Strings: Is this dumb ?

Hi.
I put a set of Alice normal tension titanium strings on my C10..
I was actually loving them. But the A prematurely popped after only about 3 weeks..(It's usually the D that goes first, huh !)
Now I don't know what to do as it looks like there are no single Alice bass strings available. Let alone I don't know if this is common for this make of string..It's an .035, normal tension..
Anyone know what 'A' I could buy to match it as closely as pos.? Will any .035 feel and be close enough in sound to the 2 other basses ? I don't want to put a whole new set of anything on until the rest are worn out. And for me, that could be months..
Thanks, M

I've never met a classical bass string that I didn't like, trebles, yes. Even knowing nothing of the Alice brand, I would still take a chance on a bass string from another brand.

I would think you should be able to find single A's. I have bought DiAddario single A's
