Default Zoom A1 Four - Amazing $130 pedal (and a cool tip)

Has anyone tried one of these? It's amazing and just $130. I also realized I can use it as a wireless mixer. I will post a few review to my YouTube channel in a week or so.

There are settings on the screen while in looper mode. Simply change it from ‘post’ to ‘pre’.

I have the Zoom A3 and this looks so much better than the A3. I'm thinking their might be a future purchase.

I agree. They got the form factor right with these!

This looks cool. I've bought a couple multi pedals, but with so many features and so few dials I've always felt them to be a bit cumbersome. Granted they can be much more compact for travel. I'm open to be convinced.

They sound great. I used it tonight for a compact set up and it worked great. I have a few suggestions that I have told Zoom about. I hope they consider implementing them.

A too short 30 seconds. One of the reasons I own an HX Stomp instead.

How is the Impulse Response? I'd love a more natural sound without shelling out four bills for a ToneDexter.

Also, does it do shimmer reverb? I love that with an acoustic.

I looked for shimmer and couldn't find it on the effects list - check it out:

Yes the looper is short and there may not be a Shimmer but this is an amazing grab and go pedal or a supplement to an additional pedal. It would be cool in front of a TC Play Acoustic for example. While the images are not the same thing as Tone Dexter they do an excellent job of smoothing out the sound of the K&K.
