That is just going to be an amazing guitar. I LOVE the headstock design and how it coordinates with the rosette. Really sweet design elements. I once owned a pink ivory guitar, and I recall that it had a super pleasing tone. I’m optimistic this one will rock your world when you get it.

Thanks gents. She's off to finish and this will probably be the last update for a while.

Rebecca has been a treat to work with and I can't wait to play it!

I'm very curious to see how this one turns out compared to the pink ivory parlor that was at B.I.G. That one was certainly one of my favorites at the show.

This one definitely has the looks to match! Congrats.

Haha, you and me both!

Rebecca takes detailed notes of her builds, a la Somogyi. I'm betting she can make it as good or better!

This build is within 7 grams of the previous PI Parlor. I'm guessing the Macassar fingerboard is a bit heavier than the Braz on the original so that may account for the difference.

Cheers

Well the Pink Ivory Safari didn't make it in time for La Conner, but it's finally complete and delivery is just around the corner (should be next week). It's been super fun and I'm thrilled to finally get to play it.

Thanks to everyone for tuning in and for your words of encouragement and help. Most especially Rebecca whom I can't recommend enough!

I’d like to get over the hill to play this one, and not least to compare to my new Small Concert from Rebecca…but I don’t have the time or energy!

Large CONGRATS!

The honor and pleasure would have been all mine. Maybe Rebecca will come over here for a night? [emoji41]

I asked her about having somebody shoot a demo video. Everyone is in Eugene and I guess nobody feels like making the drive either way

2-1/4 hours from our area (Pleasant Hill) to Bend…behind RVs and 18-wheelers on mostly a two-lane state highway…not a lot of fun! [emoji41]

Looks amazing - both the color and the contours.
