Mix and match

I posted part of this idea in the Build and Repair section. Having stewed over the concepts a bit, I thought I might mention it here.

I'm curious to know what an archtop dread would sound like.

Have any of you ever considered putting an f-hole or round-hole archtop onto a dreadnought or M/0000? I know that the M/0000 came from the reverse process. What I have in mind is to have an Acme Archtops.com laminated top put onto my old (laminate) Yamaha Eterna dreadnought; failing that, having the same thing done to a StewMac (or Martin, heresy I know) dread kit, complete with trapeze tailpiece.

Recognizing that this is a weird idea, what do you all think?
