Default Shop Shots Sheppard Ave Maria Deep Bodied GC

Here are a few shop shots of the guitar in my previous post today. Hope you enjoy them!























More details: MG Brazilian Rosewood sides/back, MG Swiss (German) Spruce top, Select Blue Paua "Narrowline" (copyright Sheppard Guitars) pearl purfling on neck and headstock, Carbon fiber reinforced one piece quartersawn Honduran Mahogany neck, Walrus fossil ivory nut/saddle, African blackwood binding, headstock overlay and bevel, Gotoh super 510 black (violet) chrome tuners, lower bout sound port, red/black/red/black mitered side purfling.

Gerald,
Beautiful build! What does MG stand for? How do you hold your red purfling lines in place while gluing them? Scalpel points? Are you using CA on the purflings?

I guessed it! "Master Grade" I'll bet, since Gerald used it for both the braz and spruce..

Hi Tim, You are right, I just tack them in place with CA. Yes MG - master grade.
