You should have made it to the other party. Svea had her new McCollum. It sat under a bed for 17 years unplayed before she got it.

And, it was good to see you twice in two years!

Thanks for posting all these images! I was there for a few hours friday and it was dizzying. Such an incredible collection.
BTW: The bottom photo is a Harvey Leach with Lucky Strike top and "The Tree" back and sides.

I was only there on Friday, and didn't get to see as much as I wanted to. There weren't many 12 string guitars, and I only saw one all koa guitar. Spent time talking with Kevin Ryan, and Mary/Buddiesorg was at his booth at the same time. Also talked with James Goodall a little about an all koa guitar. Might have to take a drive down to his shop to look at his stash of koa.

Here's a photo from Lame Horse guitars that showed up on my Facebook page:

I'm not even there and I can post a photo! I sure wish we were seeing more! Maybe tomorrow . . .

I concur! We need video!

Kyee: Thanks for the pictures so we can enjoy the moment as best as we can without being there!

Is anyone displaying any 12-strings? (harp guitars don't count. )
I played two by Tsuneyuki Yamamoto, both were fan frets ... absolutely gorgeous. I was intrigued by the sound ... never heard anything quite like it (but then I've never seen a multiscale 12-string ... and multiscale guitars definitely have a different sound). I think I have a picture of one (I'll be going through my pictures today ... will hopefully have something put together by tomorrow or Wednesday ... I'm exhausted) ... the other wasn't in his display.

There was also one by Charles Hoffmann ... very solid and balanced with just a bit of brightness ... just like a 12-string should sound, in my opinion.

Fantastic pics! I'm sure all of us wished we could attend but these pictures and stories really help bring us close to the action.

I had thought that as a California resident there was no way I'd miss another Healdsburg Show...bummed.

It looks, yet again, like a great time and a whole bunch of fantastic guitars!
