One band I was in some years ago, we named 'Morning Wood'. We did one weekend at a pool lounge. It was worth it just to see the band name on the marquis at the venue.

Faceless Government Drone was the name of a group that some friends and I started in the early 80s, but we never really got it going.

Brat was the name of an all-girl band in central Florida in the early 80s.

BLOTTO
They were a band out of Albany, NY in the late 70's that had a little success.

HIP POCKET
A early 70's rock band like Chicago with a full horn section.

My dad's band was the "Get off the Stage" band.

He reminisces about delirious fans screaming for them, "Get off the Stage!"

Lmao all of these band names are GREAT. One of my favorite things to do every thrusday, when the local Austin Chronical comes out(the paper for weirdos) is look at the band names.

I like:

Spun: That's actually my guitar teachers band, they're pretty good(plug!: www.spunmusic.com).. But I can't help but wondering, is "Spun" what a fish is after it has "Spawned"? ...I'll never think of cotton candy the same way ever again..

Four Man Trio... For those of us who can't count

The Mountain Goats

PoDunk.. For those of us are one..

Girls In A Coma... Cause that's what they'll be after listening to this band (One of the worst in town)

Punch Your Face.. I mean you gotta laugh at that

The Vibrators.. I need not comment

Kind Of Like Spitting.. Hack a loogy on ya!

My old band's name:

We used to give out stickers like on toys that say Try Me! It worked pretty well.
