Willie dude you knocked this one out bigtime. This is a cool tune and bro your cover has all the mojo and vibe from your vox to the pickin'. As a former Marine that worked Vietnam era jets; (A-4 Skyhawks to be exact) and I dig aviation stories like this; this was very cool to listen to. So major props on this one WJ & Merry Christmas to ya!

I love this song Willie, and you more than do it justice. I learned this song in tribute to one of my best friends, a Nam chopper pilot, and he then flew for US Customs for 25 years, amazing guy. You made this great song your own. Outstanding, both guitar work and vocals.
