'82 G&L S-500 White with an F-100 humbucker in the bridge position
'82 G&L S-500 Tobacco Burst
'82 G&L SC-1 Red
'83 G&L SC-3 Black.
'83 G&L Cavalier Clear Red
'86 G&L Broadcaster Black
'88 G&L Skyhawk White
'88 G&L Skyhawk Blonde "Leo Fender" Signiture Model
'88 G&L S-500 Three Color Sunburst
'89 G&L Asat Cherryburst
'90 G&L Comanche V See Through Blonde
'04 G&L S-500 Tobacco Burst

I also have two more G&L's that are being restored:

'83 SC-2
'84 Superhawk

I play those G&L's, and the other guitars listed below through the amps listed below. The '56 Fender, Princeton amp has the best sounding natural overdrive tone I've ever heard. I sometimes use an Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer pedal with the '77 Fender, Deluxe Reverb.

Don't do much with my electric, but when I do here's what it looks like:

Fender American Deluxe Fat Strat => Boss GT-3 => House

Sometimes I'll use my Sparkle Drive pedal instead of the GT-3 if I don't need the GT's horsepower.

Now, I have used my Martin through the GT-3 with an overdriven effect selected, lot's of fun watching folks trying to figuire out where the electric guitar sound is coming from.

Bobalouie3, how do you like your sparkle drive? i got one about 6 weeks ago and find that i'm using it more and more. normally, i'm happy to play straight into the amp but the sparkle drive gives such a boost to the harmonic structure of the tone that it's hard to resist. a pity in a way because i'm also getting to love the sound of the lonestar and becoming more proficient at getting the sounds i want from it. maybe i should lock the sparkle drive away for 6 months. you seem to have relegated it to an 'also ran' position in your setup?

Fender Fat Strat (MIJ)

Peterson VSII

DOD A/B Box

A
Fender HR-Dlx

B
Visual Sound Route 66 Comp/OD
Boss CE-2 (MIJ green label)
Roland Cube 30

Lately I've been leaving out everything that's not in bold, but sometimes it's fun to take the time to set up the 2-amp thing with the Hot Rod clean and the Cube to rectifier Zizz.

Or to set the cube+chorus to superclean 'swoosh' and the HR-Dlx+Rte66 to 'fuzzy fuzz'.

Lots to play with. Ain't life a peach? Every day just keeps gettin' better.

Guitars:
655ce
T5 C2 Koa
Clapton Strat (Blackie version)

Amps:
Schertler David acoustic
THD Univalve head with THD 2 x 12 cab

Effects/Tuner:
Strobostomp
Carl Martin Compressor
RC Booster
AC Booster
Boss CE-5 Chorus
Boss TR-2 (Keeley modded) Trem
Boss DD-20 Delay
Goodrich LDR2 Volume Pedal
PacifiCustom Pedals ABY
...and a Boss GT-6 for good mearsure.

Actually, I'm having one more ABY pedal built as when combined with the one I already have it will allow me a whole lot of switching options with both my amps running.

This is all way more 'stuff' than I really need... but it is driving me to discover and use different tones and options in my playing (mostly P&W). It makes the discovery and experimenting and the playing a lot of fun!

I am going in the typical guitarist's circle of ever-changing stuff. I was using a Yamaha DG Stomp into a Line6 Echo Pro, switchiing programs with a behringer MIDI switcher. I thought that was too much to carry, so I bought a Yamaha MagicStomp. I wasn't pleased with the switching delay with this unit. I then discovered Visual Sound pedals at Phil Keaggy's studio, so I bought a couple. So, here is where my simplified rig is now:
Guitars: Godin LGX-SA or Parker Fly Deluxe or 1999 Taylor 612CE----->
Ernie Ball Volume pedal
Peterson StroboStomp tuner
Visual Sound Route 66
Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive
Visual Sound H20
TC Electronic Chous Flanger
Yamaha Magic Stomp (set on either a clean amp sound or an acoustic guitar setting)

I have a 13-pin connector on the Godin, and it runs to a Roland VG8EX. The output from the Yamaha Magic Stomp goes to the line in jacks on the VG8EX. I then go out the low imp. line out of the VG8EX to the PA system (we use no amps live, so our stage volume is nothing unless our drummer uses his real drums - makes for easier FOH mixing and cleaner sound). I just bought a pedal board on Ebay that appears to be a converted mixer case. Anyway, everything is mounted on the board. I will be able to go to a gig, take to top off of the case, plug in about 4 cables, and I am ready to go!
For years, I shunned pedals, thinking the multi-effector was the way to go. The multi-effector is easier in some ways, but the pedals all have a distinct character. plus, they have cool looking lights!
I also have my Shure wireless in-ear system mounted to the pedalboard, as well as my Aviom monitor mixer. Very self contained! Oh, and the guy that I bought the pedalboard from also had a boom mic stand mounted to the case. I think I might add a small beverage refrigerator to the pedalboard, too....
I will probably sell the EB volume pedal and get the new Visual Sound Visual Volume pedal when it is available. It is stereo, as well as having a clean boost on it. Visual Sound is a great company!
I want to add a Digitech JamMan for looping. Gotta get the cash together to do it, though. Do I have room left on the pedalboard.....

I love mine. The layered sound just has a cool dimension to it. Do I like it better than the Route 66? No, but it is a different color to add to the mix.

I am not a professional detective, but I am gonna step out on a limb here and guess that you like old G&L electrics.....

Epiphone Les Paul->Boss GT-8->PA

The GT-8 has GREAT effects with lots of parameters and I can customize the pedals to do just about whatever I want,

Right now I got a set with the first patch being a chorusy clean JC-120 and with the hit of a switch it models an jumbo acoustic, the next patch in the set is a crunchy rhytm marshall and with the switch it turns into a slightly breaking fender twin
The third patch is my lead patch which is just a heavily distorted marshall stack with a pedal activating autovibrato (really cool, and usefull!) and the last patch in the set is my Wah patch, with a clean funky wah and a fuzzy 60s wah.

What can I say, great stuff.

I'm looking at a new electric now, thinking of going with a American series hardtail strat.
