Good one Derek.

I'm always amazed at how clean you play and how sharp your recordings sound. No buzzing, no zings, no squeaking. Just the notes.

Thanks. My first about thirty years playing was on classical guitars. Perhaps that shaped what I expect to hear string noise wise and I transfer that to playing
flattop guitars. Elixir strings do help decrease string noise as well as adjustments in fretting (pressure and lift offs).

Second what Barry said, and just wanted to say what a well composed little melody that is. Some nice little twists and turns, the odd chromatic note making it more interesting.

Thanks. I like the color chromatic notes can add and its increased opportunity of note leading. I use that more extensively in some other compositions.

Thanks Roscoe. Nice to know there is some consistency about that.

I like it real well now, and I can also hear it in my head with a fiddle and a resophonic in the mix.
