Default Westminster model 450?

I recently purchased a 1970s Westminster classical guitar on an auction for $75 which includes shipping and taxes. However I cannot find any useful information on this instrument. Does anyone know about this brand? All I could dig up is that it supposed to sound good.

Thanks,
Chesschef

Default Westminster Classical Guitar Model 450

Well, I received my new, or should I say 50 year old guitar from the auction.

It was quite dusty and only 2 small dings on it. I cleaned it up, the condition is very good, put new strings on it D'addario Pro-Arte normal tension.

I am impressed with this guitar, the intonation is spot on up and down the fret board, and the projection of the sound is astonishing. Truly a keeper.

I think I found a gem and am thoroughly enjoying it. Now it is back to practicing (haven't played classical is over 20 years) and relearning a bunch of classic tunes.

Nice find!

I have an old Westone Stratocaster made by Matsumoku. Paid $30 and after a fix up and re-fret, it is a very good guitar.

I would love to see an old classical from that workshop!
