Wow interesting,,,coincidence or cosmic connection ?
Not only did I just finish the video editing yesterday but was going to upload it to Youtube today (this was a fairly big project for me with multiple parts and I am slow at video editing )

And Yes I did indeed do my version of the Hoyt Axton cover of the Micheal Martin Murphey song Because it was the Axton version that I first heard and , another prime example of an artist covering a song and making it their own.


Hoyt Axton I believe did it E,,, but when I fist figured it out from memory I played it in D

As soon as it's uploaded I will post it here


So the back story is kinda interesting. While it appears that historically Geronimo was not actually "Given" a Cadillac he did however participate in Publicity stunt where he dressed in Whitemans garb and was seated at the steering wheel of a Locomobile (not Cadillac ) but I am guessing artistically Locomobile did not work as well as Cadillac to go with "Take me back'

In any case here it is

Excellent interpretation of the MMM song! It is one of those tunes that I am surprised has not received more cover treatment over the years.
