Default Henriksen Bud10

Hi, I just got the amp, love it! Curious if others that use it can share their insights. Here are a couple of mine:

- When plugging a humbucker archtop (Heritage H-575) into it I think the key is to keep the gain on that amp channel very low.

- I'm also plugging in a dynamic mic for vocals shure beta57a. On the mic channel i think it helps to boost the amp gain a bit to get a better tone.

If you have any settings for the eq that you can share that would be awesome. I didn't see any documentation in the packaging and will also check the Henriksen website

Nice. I also got a Henriksen bud 10. I simply can handle all instruments. I've tried it with Acoustic guitar, A Strat, Archtop, Electric bass, Keyboard and drum. All got excellent results.

For Archtop guitar, I like the thick tube clean sound, I've tried adding a Radial Firefly tube DI box before the bud 10. The result is so perfect. About the EQ section, I do beware of the low-mid. I turn it back to around 10 O'clock direction to avoid the muddy low. YMMV.

There is a review of Henriksen the Bud 10 below:

Thanks for sharing, that had some great info and insights. I'm digging in to experiment with the controls, A LOT OF tone shaping on this amp.
