I watch these videos in fascination, and I almost never watch on-line videos. It is great to see a true craftsman like Alistair go through his creative process. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the process and the final product too.

Earl;

I'll bet that Alistair doesn't let us see the actual mold/production process--he's not going to let us see all of his Irish magic. That's just a guess.

I, too, am wondering when the curtain is going to come down. I'm sure there's a limit to how much he's prepared to disclose.

Regardless, it's fascinating to see even this much of the sausage being made.

There's sausage? How do they have time to make sausage with all those guitars being ordered/built?

I've heard him play and suspect that tdq will be all over this. Who decides on the winning music? Alistair, Emerald staff, forum members?

I'm looking forward to the music and the full mold process.

I believe the folks at Emerald will be picking the winner. Definitely not forum members, as it's open to a much wider audience than just us handful of fanboys

I sent in two videos already...not sure it's allowed but I couldn't help myself....
He did say, I thought, that it would be put to a vote.
There are some pretty awesome players out there that are in a league of their own, hope we get to hear them all!

Good luck tdq, I've always liked your play and think you present some pretty strong competition for this race.

Todays video: https://www.facebook.com/12781739164...7/?d=null&vh=e

I think alistair intends on reviewing the entries in house and then opening it to a popular vote based on a short list! Or maybe its the other way round 😂 it will be open to more than just the forum, and from what ive seen so far, competition is tight!
