Do I feel an inlay of shell of a shell coming on?!

Can't wait to see this one finished up and in your hands...
You are too smart or too close to Ben's shop, one of the two LOL!

I feel like this is a B.I.G. guitar as we all get to try it at the same time. I am excited to hear your thoughts!

Thanks Paul, I think you would win the most enthusiastic AGF Custom Shop award if there were one.

I am suffering from GUW or guitar update withdrawal...Ben has been spending time getting the Sapele guitar (Blue Boy, which will be available at B.I.G. (er)) caught up to the Nautilox...my email has been very uneventful as of late!

I know that feeling. Bruce has the Penngrove done (for B.I.G.er) but continues to work on the Pernambuco for Rob. No word on when my FT-0 will come out of drying hibernation. It's rough.

Dennis, knowing how Bruce works (or call me psychic), but once Rob’s guitar is under finish this week, Bruce will assemble and set up your FT-0-C. My guess would be week of Feb 23-29 your guitar will speak its first words... The longer the oil varnish cures, the harder it gets and the better it will buff...patience.

Easy for you to say … you are already playing your FT-0.

I'm a patient guy. Bruce knows best and I bow to his expertise.

Sorry for the hijack Tom. I'll be quiet now.

Ben does not normally build more than one guitar at a time, but in order to have mine and another Nautilus done for B.I.G. he is doing two at a time. I have not had any updates for a bit as he was working on Blue Boy to catch it up to the Nautilox. Blue Boy is a beautiful quilted sapele that is going to explode with finish topped with some 40 plus year old Sitka affectionately known as Dad's Sitka. Here are some artsy pictures of Blue Boy with a little assistance from the Nautilox...

I asked Ben the inspiration for the color scheme of the Blue Boy and it is the Nevada skyline. Browns, with blue and white for the sky

Mighty fine! Mighty fine! I would think that Sapele will really pop under finish.

I wonder if 3 days will be enough to try all these incredible guitars?

Those lines are exquisite. I love the photo with the 2 soundholes next to each other with the complementing flow. I would bet that these are going to get a LOT of attention at B.I.G

Yes, I think folks can't wait to try out this new model plus we will have Nemoman's smaller size to try.

I love that picture too. Reminds me of two Grand pianos sitting back to back.

Default Pop-pop-pop!

It sure did pop--and that BRW isn't looking too shabby either!

Gorgeous boxes, both of them. Really spectacular sets.
