Default Martin 0000-18 Sinker Mahogany Price Drop 7/30/19

I had taken down my ad for this gem, after a couple other acoustics sold. However, I am considering a couple vintage Martins, so this is back for sale.

2018 Martin 0000-18 with Sinker mahogany and VTS Sitka top. You'll be hard-pressed to find a straighter back grain.
Super comfortable to play, articulate with great balance top-to-bottom.

Braces are sitka, scalloped 5/16" forward shifted. 25.4" scale.
Bindings are ebony, as well as the bridge, faceplate, and fingerboard.
1 3/4" nut, Genuine Mahogany 12/4 neck, 2 3/16" string spacing. MLO neck profile.
TKS 570 Cabernet case (6-latch).

Near-mint; no scratches or nicks I have found. I almost never play with a pick. This was purchased at the annual Martin Event at my local dealer.

Ships in the original box and includes the build sheet, hang tags etc.

Asking $3200 now $3000 plus shipping. No trades, thanks.

Oh man, beautiful! If I hadn't just purchased a Collings I35 and a Martin 000-18 Custom I'd buy this thing right now.

You sure I can't tempt you with any trades?

Good luck with sale!

Thanks! But surely you can find room in your stable for a nice 0000 Sinker?

No; as stated in the ad, I bought it directly from Martin through the dealer at the annual Martin Event.

Sorry about that, I moved too quickly.

Gruhn has Adirondack anyway I think.

LOL. But she hasn't heard it!

I took my wife to the Martin Event I purchased from. I played selections I know she likes (I do as well). We were both quite impressed. In fact, Martin's sales mgr was commenting how beautiful it sounded, and asked if I wrote the song I played.

Ha; nope, it was authored by Will Ackerman, but I performed a decent rendition.

Seriously, this guitar changed my mind about mahogany guitars; I had been a RW guy forever. It's only because the Sinker OM I just purchased fits me better that this is even up for sale. Otherwise it's going nowhere.

Update to mention the scale length is 25.4". Most all Martin 0000 / M models are long scale.

Note that with the ebony bindings, bridge, head plate, and fretboard, there is a very classy, tuxedo-like appearance!

Last call! As I play this 0000, I wonder why I am thinking about selling it.

It has this lovely even tone. Lots of bass, owing to its dread-like body volume. But shimmering highs to match. Excellent.

Anyway, if you had any thoughts of buying, do it now. It's coming off-market after Friday.
