Default We Just Disagree (cover of Dave Masons great song)

A friend of mine took some videos of our gig this past Sunday. Thanks Ron!
This is Part of Dave Masons great hit, "We Just Disagree"
I play and record the back up vocals, and rhythm for our practice and live gigs. Some of these great songs just don't sound right without the harmonies. All the harmonies are my voice.
I don't have a studio per-say. I record the rhythm and vocals on my Digitech JamMan loop pedal, then transfer to my Zen audio player which is about the size of a domino. It plays through a channel on my Fishman Artist Acoustic combo Amp then DI out to my EV power speakers. I know having canned voices aren't really doing it totally live, but I love harmony, so I add it when I can. I tried those harmony pedals before but they don't always do the parts I want to hear. Thanks for listening.

Sounds nice - one of my favorite all time tunes. Got to hear the man play it live back in '76!

Great job on one of Dave Mason's best songs.

I got the thrill in the mid 90's of going out to dinner and then drinks with Dave, and a friend of mine who was helping Neil Young put together a label for older artists.

We picked him up at the Mansion Hotel in Dallas, and went to The Palm Restaurant downtown, where they treated him like the Rock Star he is. He was an really good guy, with great stories about playing with Hendrix, McCartney and pretty much all the greats of the 60's and early 70's. After dinner we went back for single malts and Cuban cigars at the bar, and ended the evening in my buddies Tahoe, listening to Dave's latest 3 songs on cassette.

It was my greatest "star" encounter, and I sat front row for him in Dallas a couple of months back at a small venue. He still has the voice and the chops.

This is one of two songs (the other being "Follow You, Follow Me" by Genesis) that formed the soundtrack of my lovely wife's and my courtship in 1978. If it comes on we just stop in our tracks. And you are right: it wouldn't be right without BGVs.

Thank you. I guess this version is kind of a hybrid between Dave Masons and Billy Deans version. A great fun song to play!
Thank you for listening and your comments,
Vance
