Default Maschine Mikro II?

Anyone have experience with these? I just bought one and I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how it works.

I have never used anything but a midi keyboard controller and the VI's within my DAW software which is relatively simple, as there is no additional software to learn and you have the basic keyboard chords as reference to the guitar chords . So I can't really help ....
