Default What is this autographed guitar?

[IMG][/IMG]Can anyone identify this strat style or autograph? Can get it for possibly around $50-60. Looks like one of those reliced pieces but don't think its on purpose. Kinda cool except for the holes, what do you think?[IMG][/IMG]

The headstock is classic import. Looks to be a homemade job.

I think you have the basis for quite a reasonable barbecue there . . . .

The autograph was put there at a time when the tuners and hardware were removed. That would be odd.

They left out MO in the middle because there wasn't enough room for StiMoRol.

Possibly a one-off, signed by the master craftsman who created it ?

Is it possible its Elliot Randall, session guitarist who played the solo on Steely Dan's Reeling in the Years?

Did someone make their own holes for strap pegs directly on the front of the body?

Looks like a Squier body with a different neck to me. I'm not Strat expert just comparing my son's Squier to this picture. Even looks like the Squier tuners were carried over onto this neck. There are total garbage 10:1 and make all kinds of string noises when tuning. I prefer an 18:1+ tuning keys, locking even better.
