Default You Got The Silver

My favorite Keith Richards penned and sung Stones ballad, from Let it Bleed. It's even my wife's ringtone on my phone. Nice easy and relaxed one to play as well. And if I can manage to sing anything, it's probably Keith... I'm trying to get comfortable with this Audigo mic system with one mic - tried it with two and had too many glitches - and using the multi-track capabilities just enough for some acoustic lead playing on a second track.

Thanks for listening and the kind words Glenn and Joe. If I could play slide, I might have done it a little closer to the original, but I've never gotten anywhere with playing slide...

Your system sounds great, Ray. I really dug your guitar solo as well, and that's just a great tune--I love Keef!--Tim.

Thanks Tim. Yeah, I love the Stones as much as any act and Keef is most of why. The Jimi Hendrix of rhythm guitar... I started a Stones song thread a few years back, but I ended up being the only one who contributed to it, so it died pretty quickly. Oh well... This song was probably in it, but an earlier recording without video...

I saw the Stones a couple times in the 90s, and they were great, so many great tunes, and they can roll them off one after another. It's crazy.

The only Stones tunes I have ever played are Wild Horses and Dead Flowers, and those owe more to Old and in the Way and Townes Van Zandt than the Stones, I guess. I like this tune as well, but I have never tried to do it.

Anyway, the Audigo is working great, my friend--Tim.
