A felt furniture boot with a plastic rim with a 3” outer diameter and a rubber ring with a 1” inner diameter. I mounted it on a piece of scrap wood using the set screws and drilled out the middle with a 1” spade bit on my bench top drill press. It ended up being just shape I needed and the rubber ring acts as the perfect stop.
